There are well documented links between the consumption of oily fish such as salmon and improvements in heart, mental and joint health. The main reason for this connection is the high levels of EPA and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids, for which our feed has a restricted minimum that is well regulated throughout the salmon's lifecycle.

All ingredients in the Arnarlax feed, both from marine and plant sources, are always under great scrutiny due to sustainability concerns over fish stock health and land based farming practices. Even the Omega-3 fatty acids, which traditionally have mainly originated from pelagic species, are now being sourced by additional means, such as the Antarctic krill.
